Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgery Orderly/Transporter in the Surgical Services department. The role involves safely transporting patients by gurney or wheelchair to and from surgery and assisting with transfers between bed, gurney, and wheelchair.

Responsibilities include transporting patients within the facility, ordering and restocking supplies, and supporting the department with housekeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required).

Position Purpose All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision of providing the region’s best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance. This position is responsible for safely transporting patients via gurney or wheel chair to and from surgery and assists in transferring patients between the bed, gurney and/or wheel chair.
