Job summary

South College in Dublin, OH is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of clinical experiences for the Surgical Technology program. You will manage clinical sites, students, and affiliated agencies to ensure integration of hands-on practice with theory presented in class and lab.

Collaborate with faculty to maintain documentation, secure sites for new students, monitor site visits, resolve issues, and participate in campus meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of an associate degree, bachelors preferred
• Experience: Current CPR/BLS Certification

• Perform clinical site visits and document outcomes.
• Facilitate the resolution of student and site issues that may arise.

• Maintain 100% compliance with all accreditation guidelines in clinical aspects of the Surgical Technology program.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Duties

The Clinical Coordinator oversees the daily operations of all aspects of clinical experiences. This includes, but is not limited to, clinical sites, students, and clinical agencies. The Clinical Coordinator works closely with the faculty to ensure that clinical experiences and practice skills are solidly integrated with and reflect application of theoretical material presented in the classroom and laboratory.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinical sites used for clinical experiences in the Surgical Technology program and maintaining positive relationships with staff at all clinical sites.
