Job summary

Success Education Colleges – Nevada Career Institute, Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Surgical Technology instructor for a full-time position (Mon–Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

You will teach, prepare and grade exams, maintain student records, develop lesson plans, and oversee lab sessions, providing a professional role model and supporting student success. Requires CST credential, 3+ years OR teaching experience, and proficiency with MS Office. SEC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Requires a credential in Surgical Technology through a national credentialing organization accredited by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Requires a minimum of three (3) years of operating room experience or teaching in the field, or a combination of the two, within five years prior to hire date.
• CST certified
• AS in ST

Responsibilities

• Teaches and implements the objectives of the curriculum course, as assigned by, and under the direction and supervision of the Director of Surgical Technology.
• Prepares, administers, grades, and records formative and summative written and practical examinations during course of study.
• Maintains records of student progress and performance, attendance and grades.
• Devises written lesson plans and implements them through lecture, demonstration, discussion, etc.
• Is responsible to oversee and facilitate laboratory sessions for students in the lab, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
