Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology.
• 4 years clinical experience with at least 2 years in the OR scrub role within last 5 years.
• Credentialed in surgical technology through NCCA-accredited program.
• Direct and specialized instructional knowledge required.
• Design and deliver engaging educational content, adapting teaching methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for instruction.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly.
• Foster a safe, orderly learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain and prepare teaching aids and equipment.
• Keep curriculum up to date with industry standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments and exams.
• Provide feedback and support to help students succeed.
• Identify at-risk students and develop improvement plans.
• Build rapport with students and partners to support competency.
• Provide reports to stakeholders and discuss instructional programs.
• Interact regularly with students in online course components.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions; troubleshoot equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
