What You Will Do

1. Provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using nursing interventions to help them attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health.
2. Provide patient care and function in a primary scrub position.
3. Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures.
4. Ensure that appropriate instruments and supplies are present and in proper working condition.
5. Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field.
6. Support the operative team, including following patient care hand-off protocols.
7. Actively participate in the quality improvement process.
8. Engage in learning and self-improvement.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Perform other duties as assigned.

3. Refer to departmental documentation during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
