Job summary

Responsibilities

• Pass surgical instruments in operating room.
• Maintain sterile field, assist/perform surgical case counts.
• Obtain necessary supplies/instruments for cases and check for completeness and working order.
• Open room independently or with circulating nurse depending on case complexity.
• Set up and maintain sterile field until patient exits the room.
• Maintain a neat and orderly sterile field during each case.
• Pass instruments to surgeons, anticipating needs.
• Monitor for breaks in sterile technique and take corrective action when identified.
• Perform counts in accordance with policy.

Job description

This title offers a Talent Attraction bonus for New Grads of $6,000 with an 12-month commitment or $12,000 with a 24-month commitment.(GSH and Chandler locations only), Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.

This title offers a Talent Attraction bonus for Surgical Techs with 12 months or greater experience, up to $15,000 with an 18-month commitment (GSH or Chandler locations only); or $20,000 with a 18-month commitment ( CVOR Specialty Only). Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.
