Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our OR team in northern Michigan. You will prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, stock supplies, and serve as a calm, reliable presence for patients before procedures.

Under the guidance of surgeons and RNs, you’ll manage instruments, track supplies, document procedures, and help ensure smooth, life‑saving experiences for our patients in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Training Program or current LPN with scrub experience.
• BCLS certification is required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (C.S.T./N.C.C.T.) is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• As a Surgical Technician, you’ll prepare operating rooms with precision, ensure equipment is sterilized and supplies are stocked, and be the calming presence for patients before procedures.
• You’ll manage instruments in the OR, assist surgeons, track supplies, document procedures, and stay organized to support life‑saving moments.
