SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

About the Role

The Surgical Technologist provides technical assistance to surgeons and physicians during surgical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). When not directly assisting during a procedure, the Surgical Technologist may participate in patient care activities under the direction of the Clinical Leader, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
