Job summary

University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center is seeking dedicated Surgical Technology professionals to join our team. We offer a $5k sign-on bonus for external candidates with 1+ years of experience and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new grad techs. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical technology or scrubbing in operating rooms.
• Ability to follow sterile technique and PHI handling.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-specific patient care in the scrub role.
• Assist with technical responsibilities in operative procedures.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are present and in proper working condition.
• Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field.
• Support the operative team and follow patient hand-off protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement and ongoing learning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
