Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program or six months specialized patient care training in the armed forces required.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and operating room practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Handle surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during general to moderately complex procedures.
• Assist surgeon and OR team with patient preparation, transport, and care duties to ensure safety and comfort.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
