Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Edward Hospital OR team. This full-time role (36 hours/week) operates 11:00am–11:00pm with rotating evenings, overnights, weekends and on-call shifts.

You will scrub before, during and after surgery under general supervision; must have CST program graduate, CPR/BLS, and AST certification within 18 months if not already held. Prior OR experience is preferred, and multiple benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required. If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, acts as a surgical scrub person by performing any combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.

Education
