Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full‑time role (36 hours/week) requires rotating evenings, overnights, weekends, and on‑call shifts.

The CST will scrub for surgeries under general supervision and support the surgical team. Ideal candidates are CST‑certified graduates with AHA/Red Cross CPR, and national CST certification; certification within 18 months of hire is acceptable if not yet obtained.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• National certification through the AST is required; must obtain within 18 months if not present at hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as surgical scrub person; assist the surgical team before, during, and after surgery.
• Support the sterile field and patient safety throughout procedures.

Hourly Pay Range

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Sign on bonus: $10,000 - $15,000 (amount depends on shift, 2 years of prior CST experience is required for sign-on bonus)

What you will do

Under general supervision, acts as a surgical scrub person by performing any combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.

What you will need

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required. If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date

Preferred

• Previous Surgery/OR experience
