South Kansas City SurgiCenter in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Tech to support sterile prep and intraoperative supply management. The role emphasizes maintaining a sterile field, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring instruments and supplies are readily available for procedures.

Qualified candidates have a graduate from an accredited ORT/Surgical Tech program, at least one year of experience, and current BLS certification. Workdays are on-site with per diem compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited ORT/Surgical Tech program and minimum one year of experience.
• Must be proficient in ENT and Plastics specialties.
• Experience scrubbing at multiple procedures (General, Ortho, Urology, Ophthalmic, Pain, Colo-Rectal).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain curr ent

Responsibilities

The Surgery Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• graduation from an accredited ORT/Surgical Tech program AND minimum one year of experience, required
• must be proficient in the following specialties: ENT and Plastics
• experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., General, Ortho, Urology, Ophthalmic, Pain, Colo-Rectal)
• current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain curr ent
