Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Perioperative Support Technologist to assist anesthesiologists across departments, expediting patient flow and maintaining safety in the perioperative area. Position involves setup, operation, and some maintenance of life-support equipment, plus night/weekend/holiday call rotations.

Qualifications

• Secondary education in a medical or science-based discipline.
• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist in perioperative procedures and patient flow.
• Set up and operate life-support equipment and assist in sterile areas.
• Participate in call rotation for perioperative support technologists.
