Job summary

North Coast Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our founding team. The role begins as a per diem position with potential to transition to part-time or full-time as the center grows, offering comprehensive benefits.

Reports to physicians and/or registered nurses. The candidate will assist in surgical operations, prepare equipment, and ensure sterile setup before procedures. Certification CPR is required, and prior clinical experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Certification preferred but not required.
• Must be certified to perform CPR.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions in the operating room.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures under supervision.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensure proper function.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assistants during operations.
• Transfer patients to recovery and restock the operating room after procedures.
