Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time position.

The role supports surgeons and the operating room team, preparing instruments, drapes, and sterile supplies, and assisting during procedures under supervision. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program with current certification and BLS; one year of experience, particularly in Urology and cystoscopy, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification and BLS required.
• Prefer one year of surgical experience with Urology and especially Cystoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assemble sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensure instruments are ready for use.
• Get patients ready for surgery by prepping skin and incision sites.
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with positioning and draping.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assist during the operation.
• After operations, help clean and restock the OR and transfer patients to recovery.
