Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of acute care hospital-based operating room experience.
• Must have knowledge of principles and procedures related to surgery.
• Current BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the sterile team.
• Assists in readying room and opening supplies.
• Anticipates needs and passes instruments during surgery.

Skills

Surgical Technician Certification (CST)
