Qualifications

• Certificate or documentation of surgical technician training is required.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration must be obtained upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical staff.
• Support patient care in alignment with the mission and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.
