Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the perioperative nursing team. You will perform indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric to geriatric patients and may transport, second assist, and serve as a technical expert for the surgical service.

Requirements include graduation from a surgical technology program, Washington Surgical Technologist Registration on hire, and American Heart Association BLS on hire; prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who are having surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures. In addition, the Surgical Technologist may be assigned to transport patients, second assisting and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from a surgical technology program.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
