Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, seeks a Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. You will assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient and maintain instruments, equipment and supplies under the direction of the RN.

This role emphasizes service excellence in a busy hospital setting, with opportunities to participate in a wide range of services including robotic-assisted surgery and neonatal care.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Vocational/Technical School/Diploma required
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree may be required depending on role
• Accredited School of Technical Training considered equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supports surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintains equipment, room and supplies under RN direction.
• Performs scrub duties and assists in instrument maintenance.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times; other duties as assigned.
