Job summary

Memorial Health in Decatur, Illinois is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. In this role, you will maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures and support surgical staff by passing instruments and ensuring all supplies are ready.

Qualified candidates must complete a Surgical Technologist Program or be in the final semester, hold CST and CPR certifications, and be able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Surgical Technologist Program or in last semester of an approved program.
• CST and CPR certification required within 6 months of graduation or employment.
• Knowledge of relevant surgical equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sterile environment and apply sterile techniques.
• Assist in patient preparation and operating room setup.
• Disassemble and decontaminate instruments.
