Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares OR for procedures; sets up equipment and supplies.
• Assists surgeon as scrub person; maintains sterile field.
• Assists circulating nurse with instruments and supplies.
• Operates OR machinery and sterilization equipment per protocol.
• Receives and verifies implants for procedures (grafts, hardware).
• Participates in training and orientation of new staff.
• Transports patients to the OR when needed.
• Performs decontamination, assembly per QA guidelines.
• Uses computers/handheld devices for tracking.
