Job summary

Cameron Hospital in Angola, IN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will assist surgeons during procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure counts and instrumentation are correct for each case.

This full-time position (0.8 FTE, day shift) includes on-call requirements, benefits eligibility, and a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 with a 3-year employment agreement. Prior accredited program completion and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with accredited surgical technologist program (AS degree) is required.
• Minimum 12 weeks of clinical rotation experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during operative procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Performs accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and needles per policy.
• Prepares operating room and instruments for procedures.
• Completes annual education and regulatory requirements.
