Job summary

Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster, OH is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will prepare and maintain the sterile field, handle instruments, and assist the surgeon and nursing staff during procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique and operating room procedures.
• Ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgery.
• Assist surgeon, RN, and team with instruments and supplies.
• Verify sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Assist in positioning patient and setting up operative site.
• Maintain sterile technique and participate in room turnover.
