Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks Certified Surgical Technologists to support complex, high-acuity surgeries in a collaborative operating room environment on York Avenue, New York.

You will work closely with Registered Nurses and physicians, performing essential technical and procedural activities to uphold patient safety, surgical efficiency, and high-quality outcomes across multiple surgical services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or recognized secondary education credential).
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• National certification NBSTSA required.
• BLS certification required by time of hire.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
• Experience supporting complex operating room procedures across multiple surgical services.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work in close collaboration with Registered Nurses and physicians to support unit and patient needs by performing essential technical and procedural activities. Our Surgical Technologist are integral member of the operating room team, contributing directly to patient safety, surgical efficiency, and high-quality outcomes across multiple surgical services.

Key Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or recognized secondary education credential)
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• National certification required NBSTSA
• BLS certification required by the time of hire
• Strong verbal communication skills and a high standard of professionalism and integrity
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex operating room procedures across multiple surgical services.

Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts flexed between 7am-12am; Monday through Saturday, rotating weekends and holidays Reports To: Nurse Leader
