Job summary

Alomere Health and its Surgical Services team seek a part-time Surgical Technologist to support the Operating Room and Endoscopy Unit. You will work under the supervision of surgeons and nurses, maintaining sterile technique to ensure patient safety and smooth surgical flow.

The role requires certified technologists; an associate degree in surgical technology is preferred, with opportunities for leadership mentoring where applicable.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist Certification is required.
• Associate degree in surgical technology preferred.
• Experience supervising staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for procedures and verify instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Assist with instrument, sponge, needle, and specimen counts with the circulating nurse.
• Assist with room turnover and post-operative wound care preparations.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
