Job summary

Une institution de santé de premier plan recherche un technologiste chirurgical pour rejoindre son équipe notamment dans la salle d'opération. Ce poste d'entrée de gamme requiert un diplôme de lycée et une formation en technologie chirurgicale. En plus des responsabilités de 'scrub', vous aurez l'occasion de participer à des activités éducatives et à la rotation entre différentes spécialités chirurgicales. Qualifications

  • Expérience antérieure en tant que technologiste chirurgical ou formation requise.
  • Certificat de CPR en cours requis.
  • Préféré : Certification de Technologiste Chirurgical.

Responsibilities

  • Exécute des tâches de 'scrub' pour les interventions chirurgicales planifiées.
  • Assiste à l'utilisation et à la gestion des instruments.
  • Participe à des activités de formation et d'évaluation des compétences.

Job Details
  • Previous surgical technologist experience and/or completion of a Surgical Technologist program is REQUIRED.
  • $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Available.
Job Responsibilities

The Main Operating Room Surgical Technologist performs “scrub” duties for scheduled surgeries, assists with draping, and handles instruments, demonstrating knowledge of sterile technique and sterilization procedures. Clinical ladder opportunities are available.

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program and/or previous experience REQUIRED.
  • Completion of Anatomy and Physiology classes preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Attends mandatory in-services as specified by hospital policies.
Licensure/Certification
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in multiple surgical specialties is preferred.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as a surgical technician per hospital policies.
  • Assist in the functioning of the Surgery Department.
  • Participate in educational and competency assessment activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
