Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team in a Level I Trauma Center. The scrub role supports the Circulator, prepares the OR, gathers instruments, and maintains sterile field during procedures.

New grads welcomed. This 0.9 FTE day/evening shift position offers competitive hourly pay ($37.43-$50.65) plus benefits, retirement plan, tuition/educational reimbursement, and nonprofit PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

Work Schedule

A mix of 8-hour day shifts (6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m., 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:45 p.m.–10:45 p.m.). Occasional overnight coverage (10:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.). Additional shifts (10- or 12-hour, mid-day 10:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m.) may be assigned based on need. Weekly call rotation with weekend call every 8th weekend. Holidays and vacation per seniority.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• Completion of national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire date. Certification to be maintained by employee during length of employment.
• CPR certification required at time of employment and every two years thereafter.

Additional Information

This is a non-union 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) day/evening shift position, working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $37.43-$50.65 per hour, based on experience and internal equity, plus shift differentials. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
