Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalent.
• Certification requirements: CST/CSA/TS-C and BLS (American Heart Association).
• Experience: None required. English language proficiency essential for safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon and surgical team during procedures, including sponging, suctioning, cutting suture and retractors.
• Prepare operating room, instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and decontaminate equipment as needed.
• Document data and observations per policy; report patient concerns to licensed personnel.
