Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT) and current CPR certification.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and medical terminology skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in operative procedures using aseptic technique.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and sutures and related procedures.
• Demonstrate personal and professional effectiveness; work schedule includes weekends and on-call.
