Munson Healthcare in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Surgical Technologist (PRN - On call/As needed) to support the operating room team. The role requires knowledge of asepsis, surgical anatomy, and instrumentation, with responsibilities including setting up sterile fields and assisting the surgeon during procedures.

Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology program or LPN with scrub experience is required, along with BCLS and CST/NCCT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Training Program or LPN with scrub experience.
• BCLS required.
• Surgical Technologist certification (C.S.T. or N.C.C.T.) required.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile field and maintain according to department guidelines.
• Assist surgeon during procedures when requested under supervision.
• Passes and places ties at surgeon's request.
• CFA may assist with wound closure per Addendum.
• Stock non-controlled medications in OR as directed by supervisor.
