Job summary

Lake Worth Surgery Center in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and other staff in the operating room, ensuring sterile technique and readiness of instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, setting up the OR, assisting with patient positioning, and helping with specimen handling and recovery processes. Must be CPR certified with 0-2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be CPR certified with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for procedures.
• Sets up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions for operations.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures.
• Performs pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body and equipment.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists the team during surgery.
• Transports patients to the operating room and assists with gowning and draping.
