Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.

• Two years of scrub tech experience in surgical services recommended.

• Colorado Surgical Technologists must be registered to practice in CO.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and ensure room meets sterilization criteria.
• Assist surgical staff during procedures within scope of practice.
• Prepare room and instruments for procedures; assist with sterile processing when needed.
• Identify emergencies and respond per safety plans; document appropriately.
• Clean room after procedures and prep for next case.
