Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants is recruiting a Certified Surgical Tech to join a high-volume surgical department in Northern California Wine Country. You will support general, orthopedics, and cardiothoracic procedures while upholding sterile technique and patient safety.

Reporting to the OR Nurse Manager, you will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, handle instrument counts, and ensure efficient room turnover.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist CST certification required.
• Maintaining sterile fields and instrument counts is essential.
• Flexibility to rotate call, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for procedures.
• Verify instruments and equipment are available and functioning.
• Anticipate surgeon needs during operations.
• Complete accurate counts and manage specimens.
• Support efficient room turnovers and patient safety.
