Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our in-office team in St. Helena, CA. You’ll prepare and set up instruments, assist the surgical team, and help maintain sterile field to support efficient operating room flow.

The ideal candidate holds CST certification, has experience with sterile instrument handling and OR setup, and is committed to OSHA-compliant safety and accurate inventory management while delivering professional patient-facing service.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
• Experience in sterile instrument handling and OR setup.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in instrument sterilization and decontamination processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate case carts and OR inventory in real time.
• Demonstrated teamwork with the ability to meet daily targets and improve OR flow.
• Strong documentation skills for recording procedure details and deviations.
• Capacity to identify efficiency improvements and reduce delays in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up surgical instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Sterilize and decontaminate equipment after procedures and ensure readiness.
• Maintain accurate case carts, inventory, and restock procedures according to plan.
• Track personal performance metrics and contribute to team KPIs and pipelines.
• Document procedure details, equipment used, and any deviations for records.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets and optimize operating room flow.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent patient-facing service where applicable.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff to promote growth and merit-based advancement.
