Overview
Provides surgical technology to direct and indirect care and service. Assist surgeon, performs operative/invasive procedures. Serves as a resource to other technologists, trains new technologists, trains students, and functions as an informal lead technologist role as needed. Mentoring and utilizing the additional education gained through certification will be used to assist peers, perform more efficiently and raise performance.
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
Education:
Associate's Degree: Surgical Technology; Certificate of Completion: Surgical Technology
Preparation for surgeon specific operative/invasive procedures that’s timely, accurate, effective and efficient:
Scrubs on simple to complex procedures for a variety of specialties:
Plans, anticipates and provides for expected and unexpected intra-op events:

The compensation range for this position is $21.49 per hour - $35.89 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
