Qualifications

• At least 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Certification as a Surgical Tech is required.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Providing sterile instruments to the surgical team during procedures.
• Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
• Collecting and removing contaminated items after surgeries.
• Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
• Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.

Qualifications:

• Certificate from a Surgical Tech program.
• At least 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Certification as a Surgical Tech.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time, 40-hour per week hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).

This position will start at BCH Lexington and transition to BCH Needham upon the completion of the ambulatory care building (anticipated early 2026).
