Responsibilities

1. Providing sterile instruments to the surgical team during procedures.
2. Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
3. Collecting and removing contaminated items at the end of cases.
4. Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
5. Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate from a Surgical Tech program.
• At least 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Must be certified as a Surgical Tech.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.

Additional Information

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time, 40-hour per week hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).

This position will start in BCH Lexington and transition to BCH Needham upon completion of the ambulatory care building (anticipated to open early 2026).
