Location

US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.

Shift Details

• Shift 0600-1430 Monday-Friday. Call on a rotation basis.
• Call starts at shift end and goes until 0600 the next business day.
• Holidays: Call on a rotation basis.
• Weekends: Call on a rotation basis.

Job Summary

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out. Other duties as assigned.

Experience

The Surgical Technologist is a recent graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist (ST) program or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program. Has less than one year of experience as an ST.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.

License

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
