Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our MENOMONEE FALLS SURGERY CENTER facility.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10K!

Standard Hours: 32.00
Shift: Shift 1
Flexible start time between 6a and 7am working 8 hour shifts
The Surgical Technologist handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The candidate must have an understanding of the procedure being performed and the knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, constantly maintaining the sterile field. Additional related duties may be performed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, and quality performance.
Is competent in role as a Surgical Technologist and displays knowledge and ability to independently perform roles and tasks related to the field of surgical technology. A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post‑high‑school education, certification, or diploma is also required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, a Military Operating Room Specialist course, or the Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II program is required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
