Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Labor & Delivery department. This full-time, night-shift position supports the operating room team by sterilizing instruments, passing supplies to the surgeon, and assisting with patient positioning and draping during procedures.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED with related experience or an associate/technical degree, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
