Qualifications

• Graduate from Surgical Technologist program.
• Must be able to obtain certification within 6 months if graduating after 2020.
• Experience with aseptic technique and OR prep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and coordinate care with the team.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare instruments for procedures.
• Assist in patient transport and post-operative care as needed.
• Participate in OR safety and universal protocol compliance.
• Verify specimen collection and handling; assist with billing as appropriate.
