Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational training completed.
• Surgical Technologist (ST) credential obtained.
• CST certification preferred.
• 1+ year of surgical tech experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrub in and partner with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs.
• Monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly to concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique, complete room turnover efficiently, and support a high-performing, collaborative team.

Education

Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

CST Certification preferred

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
