Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Surgical Technologist III to prepare the surgical suite, assist during procedures, and collaborate with a skilled team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. You will work with advanced equipment, participate in on-call support, and have access to education and career growth opportunities.

The role requires a Surgical Technologist credential, vocational schooling, and the ability to maintain sterile technique while supporting a high-performing surgical team

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ST) Surgical Technologist credential confirmed at hire.
• Graduation from a recognized vocational program for Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies and advanced equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping and draping, prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and support the surgical team by passing instruments and handling specimens.
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and respond to concerns promptly.
• Uphold sterile technique and support efficient room turnover and teamwork.

• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment
