Job summary

Sightpath Medical seeks a Surgical Technologist III to support ophthalmic surgeons with mobile cataract and refractive procedures. In this field-based role, you will travel to partner facilities, set up and operate ophthalmic equipment, maintain a sterile field, and assist surgeons throughout cases.

You'll perform pre-op checks, basic troubleshooting, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control standards while collaborating with facility staff to deliver reliable patient care.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmic surgical expertise and sterile technique required.
• Ability to set up and maintain sterile fields and instruments.
• Experience with phacoemulsification and IOL handling is preferred.
• Proficiency in documenting cases and coordinating equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down ophthalmic equipment for cataract and refractive procedures in mobile OR environments.
