Join our team as a Surgical Technologist II, playing a crucial role in surgical and endoscopic procedures. As a vital member of the Operating Room Team, your responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and assisting in patient care. About the OR:

• 3 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure Rooms
• Types of OR cases include Urology, GYN, Breast, Reconstructive Urology, Colorectal, General, and Plastics
• Types of Endoscopic cases include Colonoscopies, ERCPs, EGDs, and Bronchoscopies
• Work Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 06:30 am - 07:00 pm

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Assist surgeons during operative/invasive procedures, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are ready and available, and anticipate needs.
• Maintain sterile techniques; actively monitor for breaches and communicate any issues.
• Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies; participate in turnover processes, stocking, and proper instrument care.

Qualifications

• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training; experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
• At least 3 years of experience scrubbing major and/or endoscopic cases in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• Current CST (Surgical Technologist Certification) from an accredited organization (highly preferred).
• For candidates with less than 3 years of experience, consideration for Surgical Technologist I (Pay range: $32.13/hr - $40.16/hr - $48.21/hr).
