Responsibilities

• Performs technical skill duties in operating room service areas to standards.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper handling of instruments.

• Performs surgical counts and reports discrepancies.
• Keeps sterile field and labels drugs and solutions.
• Assists in preparation and instrument planning for procedures.
• Supports surgeon and nurses during intraoperative phase.
• Participates in data collection for research as directed.
• Operates equipment and troubleshoots as needed.
