Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Senior Surgical Technologist-A: 3 years of clinical practice; B: 5 years for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Surgical Technologist 1-A and maintain room readiness.
• Establish and maintain sterile field and ensure a sterile environment.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and assist accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians and follow policies.
• Adhere to standards and safety practices in OR and hospital settings.
