Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures at Memorial Hospital West. The role is 36 hours per week, 3 days from 0645-1915, with weekends on rotation and call.

You will pass instruments, track equipment, prepare the sterile field, and assist with patient positioning and draping. The ideal candidate has an Accredited Surgical Technologist program, BLS, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• CST/TS-C certification preferred.
• One year of surgical technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pass instruments to physician during surgery.
• Account for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Prepare operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
