Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking an ordained Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, and vascular procedures within the OR.

You will work under the supervision of nurses and physicians to ensure sterile technique, instrument readiness, and patient safety. Responsibilities include assisting in operations, maintaining sterile fields, and coordinating with the team to optimize surgical flow.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent required.
• NBSTSA certification required or equivalent per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and organize instruments.
• Assist circulating nurse and surgeon during procedures.
• Prepare operating room and ensure patient safety throughout surgeries.
• Keep accurate instrument counts and report equipment status.
